Besides my wife's this is the best fried chicken in the world!!!! Also comes w chicken and dumplings that is 1st class. Sides are great, peach cobbler for desert is perfect and the atmosphere is one of a kind boarding house style. And it's all you can eat for under $26 for 2. I love this place.
It's home cooking at it's best! Fried chicken, chicken n dumplings, greens, butter beans , mashed potatoes and cream gravy and all seasoned just right! The peach cobbler was a perfect ending to a perfect meal. The ice tea and sweet tea we're fresh made. Truly a great meal. Love the casual wood tables and chairs, checkered tablecloths. Reasonably priced. Great place!
Is a good thing the food is all you can eat because the fried chicken is so good you'll never want to stop. It's good home country cooking in a unique location. Worth the stop if you're ever in the area.
Always a favorite place for us. They only serve fried chicken, dumplings, greens, black eyed peas, mashed potatoes and cobbler for dessert. BUT it's the best you'll ever have. They bring the food to your table and you take your dirty dishes to the window when your done. Not to far from Naskila Gaming...We Love It!
Good food served family style, only problem it is not handicap friendly. To get to the picket house it is a long walk up a ramp. Handicap parking is by the restaurant but you need to walk 30 yards to a ramp. The climb from the parking lot to the restaurant is too steep and on uneven ashfalt.
